Gain an understanding of the lifesaving principles embodied in the four components of water rescue education—judgment, knowledge, skill and fitness. Learn tows and carries along with defense and release methods in preparation for rescues involving conscious and unconscious victims of various types, and develop stroke efficiency in a timed swim. 100% attendance is mandatory. No refund after start date. You will receive a schedule on the first day of the course. You must be 13 to take this course or hold the Bronze Star Award. Summer courses will be partially taught at Ambleside Beach weather-permitting.
