Volunteer at the SAC

The Seniors’ Activity Centre is an active and vibrant place for adults 55 years of age and older, to participate in programs and activities.

The Centre also has a number of incredible volunteers and anyone 14 years and older is welcome to volunteer! These talented and dedicated people enjoy coming in weekly to connect with others and contribute to the well-being of the Centre and their community. The benefits of volunteering have been proven medically—you only need to talk to one of the volunteers to hear about how important the Centre and volunteering is to them!

If you like additional information on how you can get involved, email Caroline or Thanu

For the clarification on the steps involved to volunteer, see the Volunteer page.

You will be able to take the online orientation after registering. We also offer an in-person orientation once a month for those who require more clarification.

We’d love to have your help! We are always looking for people to fill in when volunteers go away, or on weekends and for special events.
